To promote and educate on the current best legal practices in Brazil, the brazilian National Council of Justice (CNJ) and the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold the first-ever Legal Colloquium Brazil-OAS: Good Brazillian Law Practices. This meeting will facilitate the exchange of ideas, experiences, and best practices among members of the OAS’ 35 member countries.

While the content will be most relevant to members of the OAS and justice and law professionals, the event is also open to the public and broadcasted on CNJ’s YouTube channel in Portuguese and English. The event will feature panels wherein participants will discuss topics including the environment, human rights, agribusiness, consumer law, technological advancements and tools for the judiciary branch, and the fight against violence against women.
